Management Process

The management process of Ulloa y Asociados, is characterized by its wide experience in the compliance of the industry giving fulfillment to each one of its due administrative processes, before the institutions that require depending on its main activity. However, the management process of Ulloa y Asociados, has specialty and strengths; for the proper advice-accompaniment of compliance with environmental legislation and international treaties and conventions of which Honduras is part relating to natural resources and the environment. By constitutional mandate it is the duty of the State of Honduras, to watch over the conservation of the environment, therefore, the applicable norms are derived, to all the projects, obliged to the faithful fulfillment of the doctrine.

 

The experience gained in environmental matters in the management process consists of guiding its clients in the development of activities through compliance with the Code of Good Environmental Practices for projects under construction or in operation, applying the necessary tools such as the Environmental Categorization Table to determine the category of the project according to the sector and activity, taking into account the magnitude or size of the same, being placed in 4 environmental categories (1, 2, 3 and 4), also verifying compliance with all the necessary requirements to obtain the Environmental License, this document, by which it is stated that the proponent has complied satisfactorily with all the steps and requirements demanded by the Law to continue with the execution of the project.

 

The participation of the client is essential to achieve the protection and conservation of all sectors, that is why the management process of Ulloa y Asociados, complying with the obligation to ensure the proper monitoring of the industry, develops activities of environmental audits to its customers, under the technical supervision of Environmental Service Providers authorized by the Secretary of Natural Resources (SERNA), activity that allows, to propitiate an adequate framework, establishing necessary mechanisms for the maintenance of the ecological balance, guiding our clients in the awareness of the fulfillment of the resolutions issued by the authorities in environmental matters.

 

Also the Management team, as a legal-technical process, guarantees our clients, through periodic environmental audits, to comply with the General Environmental Law and its Regulations of Honduras, which includes regulating the necessary requirements from the Environmental Licensing process and all its stages, and the unavoidable duty of environmental compliance, to prevent the commission of environmental crimes and infractions, demonstrating through the Environmental Compliance Reports (ICMA), to the governing authority, the effective execution of the resolutions. Therefore, watching over the due compliance and vigilance of our clients, helps to strengthen the Natural Resources and society in general.

 

Every project is guaranteed to carry out the compliance of the environmental control measures, without detriment of the additional measures that may be proposed by any other national or international authority, with the objective of accrediting before the competent authority, with the participation of the Environmental Service Providers duly registered and authorized, to guide our clients to the compliance of all obligations, as a process of evaluation and control, applying in this way the principles in environmental matters of prevention, Good Faith and Clear Rules.
